Binary Options Forward-Tester

DESCRIPTION: This tool will help you analyse accurately your arrow-indicators. It can be used in live charts or in strategy tester. 

 

SETUP:

[~] Put its name in Indicator_Name input
[~] Put the Buy_Index and the Sell_Index values.

  1. Open Data Window (Ctrl+D).
  2. Move the mouse arrow above the Buy arrow to find out the Buy_Index value from the Data Window (Usually 0 for Buy / 1 for Sell). See Screenshot.

[~] Put the Shift value:

  • "0" = If the arrow is showing up at the start of the candle.
  • "1" = if the arrow is showing up at the previous candle ending.

 I like the approach with the SPO indicators you coded and shared here, but see no feed back from anybody.

Thank you for your comment. Well, maybe the reason is because of the nature of these arrows, in which they require a forward testing and further investigation regarding their inputs in order to conclude about their efficiency. As we are used to check the accuracy based on the past performance of the arrow in the static charts. Anyways, these arrows are based on simple entry point logic, but the approach is new and can be extented to combine many indicators at once, the only challange will be the computaional power.

Hi Hicham thanks for the reply. Another question if you dont mind. On the SPO, does the indicator choose the  best expiry depending on the specific chart time frame its on. And do the arrows show up on top of the new candle or on top of the just closed candle?
